Good Parking Spaces

Have you noticed that people drive randomly in parking lots - not following lines, making bee-lines, etc?

It's unbelievable how horribly and selfishly people drive in parking lots lately (over the last year or so i think). I'm mainly talking about fairly large parking lots in big stores and shopping centers. People just make a bee-line for where they want to go, ignore the painted lines, ignore common sense and courtesy. They also just pull forward in a double row parking spot, without regard to someone who may be about to park properly in that spot. Why do these selfish, thoughtless jerks do this?

1. I've noticed this also..but the reason is simply what u've given they're jerks are stupid. I've sometimes left a note saying "go back to driving school to learn how to park" or sometimes "maybe you should get glasses because u've parked in 2 spots"...mostly because like u said they don't park properly and u can't park anywhere near them.
2. Yes! It really ticks me off when I see someone cutting through the parking lot without even LOOKING to see if another car is driving down the lane(the right way). One time I pulled out of my parking spot and was driving down the lane, and this van was cutting through, going kinda fast too, and the idiots t-boned me and hit the passenger side where my baby was in his carseat and messed my truck up, too. Now, I'm super paranoid about driving in parking lots for that reason.
3. Yes, I see this every time I go to the mall. I've almost been hit by women in giant SUVs just flying through the parking lot sideways, cutting across all lanes without even looking. Its effing ridiculous. Theres pretty much nothing you can do about it except glare at them and curse, but then they just laugh it off and go back to talking on their cell phones and drinking Starbucks while they ignore the four kids jumping around in the backseat without seatbelts. Sorry, I exaggerated a bit there. You could always follow them and see where they park and put peanut butter under their door handles when they go into the store?
