Hi, Does anyone know any convenient big empty parking lots in Toronto, Canada, where one could practice driving without worrying about other traffic and such? Thanks so much in advance!

- Its private property Police dont have repond. in accidents it becomes a civil matter. The only thing you can learn in a parking lot is parking... find a quiet subdivision to practice your turns and steering. take a few lessons first..better still take a full course Driving is an important thing lives are on the line.
- Parking lot might be good for basic braking and aceleration, but turning and real life situations can't really be practiced there. If you head out into the suburbs, you may be able to find a subdivision with a traffic light or two, and just a few cars. Make sure you don't JUST practice on empty streets - you'll be driving in traffic a lot, and getting used to responding to other drivers' actions is very important.
