Good Parking Spaces

Why do some people think they are so special they can take up two parking spaces?

Some people with nice cars take up two parking spaces so they will have extra space between two cars. What would happen if everyone took up two spaces? Hello, we would run out of room, quick. If your car is that nice you should leave it at home, or park it a mile away where there are no other cars? It comes down to common courtesy. Anyone agree?

  1. I'm hearing you loud and clear Dan.
  2. I totally agree with you.
  3. I agree. People are just too proud these days and should give everyone a chance at a parking spot.
  4. yeah! but i've done it, i've tried to park in the last part of the aisle especially when i had a new car.
  5. Yup pal! can see why you are so irked.
  6. In my case my truck is too big so I need two parking spaces but in your case i do agree.
  7. ya i park as close to those people as i can
  8. I agree with you. I think if you are concerned about your car, park where there aren't any other cars. I drive a small car so I can normally fit next to them making them really nervous when they come out.
  9. I agree it is very annoying. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt--maybe they are new drivers learning to park!! Maybe they have small children in their car and need the extra room to get the kids out of the carseats!! Maybe they are selfish and don't think of anyone other than themselves!! Move to North Dakota, there are plenty of parking spaces here! ha ha
  10. Yeah, I've seen it before. Hell, I once came across a Humvee that took up 4 parking spaces. If people are that concerned about dents and dings on their car, then park in the far reaches of the lot. Most people prefer to park up close to the store, so it's not likely anyone will park next to them if they're far away.
  11. i kind of agree, but i know when i park i like to to take up 2 spots sometimes, depends where i am though, this is because there are a lot of stupid people in the city that have kids with vans and just fling open the doors into your car door, which i have a show car and it has cost me a lot to fixed up. i yell at people all the time for door dings even to other peoples cars i will watch them then yell at them then write a note to the owner of the car, stating that i am a witness to the door ding .
  12. no the fact is that they don't know how to park cars and they don't want to scratch and/or dent their "special" car
  13. Thats a Very Good point I always wondered why they park in front of the doors of a shopping center where it says No Parking and they go in and do their shopping So than when you come out you have to walk around their car with your cart and over the curb damn there goes my groceries That f-in a** H**l
  14. One time at my mother's former work place, a woman took up three premium parking places. She had one of those BMW roadsters and she parallel parked over three dirve in spaces. My mother had to park on one side of her. The ladies who work with her convinced the young man who works with them to park on the other side. It took her about five minutes to get out of her "parking space." The ladies laughed at the temper tantrum she threw.
  15. There is no excuse to take up two parking spaces. If one is learning how to park, then fix it. If there is more room needed to open car door, then get out before parking. If one has a big truck, then park farther where people won't be inconvenienced. If one has a beautiful car and doesn't want to have a car damage, then don't take it to work or better yet bring a car cover. Bottom line, have respect and courtesy for everyone else.
