What is a good way to stop dust from a gravel parking lot other than concrete or asphalt?

- Spray with oild and water mix..
- I do believe that they make a sray that can be used to minimize dust! Check out some building site possibly based out of Nevada where there is a dust prob. Water can also be used affectively in the short term! Good Luck!
- glos is sweeps ot off!
- Water is the cheapest and easiest way to keep dust down if you have the time and money to pay the water bill and keep a sprinkler covering the parking lot
- Used motor oil. You can go to many service stations and most of them would be happy to give it to you just to get rid of it. It will turn your gravel dark brown but the dust problem would be taken care of for a long while and repeated applications over a longer period of time will make the dust like concrete only not a hard.
- spray a mixture of calcium chloride and water on it
- The old country way is to coat the gravel with used motor oil. This is not an environmentally friendly solution since rain runoff will carry the oil to the nearest stream etc. This solution is even illegal in some areas. Best solution is to asphalt if at all possible. Good luck with your problem.
