Good Parking Spaces
I am from Maine and am looking for good vacation spots in New Hampshire, Vermont or Mass.?
I am from Maine and want to go to some fun vacation spots with my wife and two kids ages 8 and 10. Looking for some shopping, good food, parks, fun tours, etc. Has anyone been somewhere they think we may like to go? We are looking for the 2nd week in August if that helps.

- well I live in portland maine and actually just came back from a vacation in montreal..it has all thoose things you described like shopping and food and is surprisingly very kid friendly iwth an amusemnt park right in downton montreal--it was less than a 5 hour drive from portland.. another of my favorite vacation spots is cape cod in mass--its quite different from maine in that you see tons of sealife (like pods of seals swimming by on the beaches) and you actulally see whales on their whale watches unlike in maine--you can even do a stopover in boston on the way
