Disabled parking spaces....answer me honestly, now....!!?
How many of you will confess to parking in spaces reserved for blue badges holders only? If you don't - why? If you do - why?

- I don't....I don't want the fine...
- I do when my b/f is with me...he's a single leg amputee. That's the only time I do.
- I never do that because what if a poor disabled person comes? Where are they going to park!? We got lucky-the least we can do for them is to leave a good parking space!
- Never would...where i live, they actually give out big tickets for that!
- I have parked in disabled spaces and in mother and baby reason is becuase they are closer to shop. Sorry
- I think it's disgusting if people do. I have a disabled 7 year old and have you ever tried getting a wheelchair at the side of a car in a normal parking space.
- never have done my gran was disabled
- I have parked in a disabled space, with a blue badge as my dad has one and I often take him out. I have been tempted when I am not with him to park in a disabled space but dont as the difficulties he has reminds me that the spaces are there for a reason and I would feel too guilty!!!!
- I don't, cos I'm a very VERY good boy. :o) I am however on holding interviews for a disabled person to sit in my car for all journeys so I can utilise the disabled parking spaces legitimately whenever necessary! *LOL*
- only once and i feel i was an honorary disabled. my ankle was sprained! it hurt alot
- l have a blue badge but i do find a lot of folk use the bays and no one takes any notice only the really disabled who cant find a space near the place their intending to reach
- I have 3 kids & use the baby spaces...it really annoys me when people without kids park in them so i know how it feels so i dont do it !!
- No I honestly don't. For a few reasons. 1. That is one heck of a ticket if you get caught. 2. I need the extra walk anyway. 3. They are usually full in this area. 4. It's just wrong if I was disabled and needed that spot I would be spitting mad if someone that had no sticker was parked there, so I don't do it hoping one day if I need those spots they will be available to me.
- never....I am able to walk so I would not take one of those spaces and make it difficult for someone who cannot
- I have done because at our local shopping centre all the disabled parking spaces are right on the path yet the mother and baby ones are where there is no path. Sorry if this offends anyone.
- Nope and it really annoy's me when the "Big Cheeses" from the companies in my building simply use the disabled spaces so they havnt got to carry their laptops that far to the door!!
- I would never or have never parked in a disabled parking space. When you think of it, there are only 1 or 2 of these parking spaces in most car parks, so surely having to walk an extra 50 yards won't hurt that much. On the other hand I have on numerous occasions seen many people driving cars that have disabled badges when the person who the disabled badge has been assigned to is obviously not present, but they still take up the space.
- Many of those who park in the reserved places round here are getting real pi**** off with me. I stick a note under their windscreen wipers. They're just plain lazy or ignorant.
- I only do when I stop at Starbucks on a Friday morning to get my weekly hot chocolate (at 7.30am .. theres hardly anyone around and always 8 other empty disabled spots). All other times, I do the right thing!
- i have a blue badge for my son and i don't park in a disabled space unless he is with me. Most times even if he is with me i don't park in one cos there are none available
- never would those spaces are for people who need them they have a reason to have a disabled badge. my mum had one when she was alive because she had, had part of her foot amputated
- I wouldnt park in disables spaces just incase there was a sudden influx of disabled people at the supermarket, and my reg got shouted out over the tanoy because i had no badge, then eveyone might come and see the arsehole who parked there-a bit exessive i know... I would park in child and parent spaces if the car park was heaving and a few were empty...
- I do but I am entitled to, because I have a blue badge and I must say that it is very annoying when Non Disabled drivers take up these parking spaces, they have no consideration for the infirm... !!..xx
- i've seen quite a few able bodied peoples using those flags as they go racing on foot into the bank, market or shopping center ..... rarely do i see wheelchair bound people using the flags for themselves. I don't dare park in a disabled zone cause the fine is $ 500-bucks &/or time in jail..... besides I need the exercise and I park far away from the stores to also avoid people opening their doors into my vehicle.
- No, but I do park in parent and child places even though my kids are 15 & 16.
- i do i have a badge
- sometimes if all the bays are not full i try to use them, i am also waiting for my bad age to appear
