3. I used to work in an airport parking facility, we never had any reports of stolen cars, and now a days they are pretty safe places with 24 hour security and cameras EVERYWHERE!
4. living in west wales we really dont have much option but to use airport parking and i can honestly say that i have never had any problems, security is real good and there is always someone on site
5. Providing you use a large reputable company (we use BCP @ Gatwick). The overall cost for a week is cheaper than getting a cab to and from the Airport. There have been some horror stories around Heathrow but as I say check out the company first, drive by thier facility and have a look. Can't comment on other Airports cos I'm in the south.

7. Generally Yes! These places have security cameras, and whilst some do not actually take responsibility for anything that happens to your car, if something does happen, i guess the video tape will be passed on to the police..
8. Generally yes but ...... remove all removable things like aerials before leaving car. Beware if you leave a car for a fortnight while on holiday - is it likely to start again on your return. I have often seen the use of jump leads to start a car left for 2 or 3 weeks and the battery was not up to it. I would never leave car keys with the park - too many stories of cars being shuffled around (starting for a few minutes makes battery even worse and high risk of damage). Good parks will have frequent shuttle to / form airport terminal but beware the small print if your plane is a little late returning, many parks charge a full extra day.
9. I'd say yes - generally...then again nothing's really safe in london...
10. When we go away we always leave our car in the Manchester airport Premier parking . There are cameras everywhere and you have to have a card to get in and out of a barrier. It's much better than having to faff around with a taxi.
11. Well the Doctor who parked his jeep in Glasgow Airport got a bit burnt!
